Six questions to answer before buying a cheat or mod menu: game and edition, where you play, what it should do, internal or external, budget and length, status and support
Answer the six questions in order: each one narrows the list.

Start with your game and its version

Every cheat and mod menu we sell is made for a specific game, sometimes for several games of the same series, and always for PC. Start from your game’s page in the shop: GTA V, FiveM, CS2, RDR2, Apex Legends, Rust, and more in the shop. For the biggest games, our comparisons put every product side by side: GTA 5 mod menus, CS2 cheats, FiveM mod menus, RDR2 mod menus and Rust cheats.

Then check the version. It matters more than most buyers think:

  • GTA V comes in two PC editions, Legacy and Enhanced, and not every menu supports both. Stand supports Legacy only, Tsumi Enhanced only, Cherax works on both, and Ethereal sells separate plans for each edition. The GTA 5 comparison gives the edition of every menu.
  • Counter-Strike: CS2 and the CS:GO legacy client are different games with different cheats. Midnight, for example, has a separate CS:GO version.
  • Call of Duty and Battlefield: some cheats cover several titles in one product, like Fecurity for Call of Duty or Fecurity for Battlefield. Check that your title is in the list.
  • Game store: a few pages name the versions they support. Kernaim Black Ops 6 says it works on the Steam, Battle.net and Xbox Game Pass versions.

Consoles aren’t covered: everything we sell is for PC.

Where you play, and with which anti-cheat

Where you use a cheat changes which one fits.

  • GTA Online runs the BattlEye anti-cheat on PC. Some menus, or some of their plans, are made to run with BattlEye on. Others are made only for sessions where it’s off, often solo or invite-only sessions: Stand is one of them, while Cherax Prime is the Cherax tier made for BattlEye on. In our plan names, “BE” stands for BattlEye.
  • FiveM servers each set their own rules and can run their own anti-cheat. The FiveM product pages remind you that third-party tools can break a server’s rules.
  • Competitive shooters: the product page usually names the anti-cheat the cheat is made for, such as Easy Anti-Cheat for Kernaim Rust, Ricochet for Kernaim Black Ops 7 or BattlEye for Kernaim DayZ.

If a page doesn’t say which anti-cheat a product is made for, ask us before you buy. Our cheat glossary explains the names.

A straight word on bans. “Made to run with BattlEye on” or “compatible with Easy Anti-Cheat” describes what the developer built, not a promise. Using any cheat or mod menu online breaks the game’s rules and can get your account banned. Nobody can honestly promise you won’t be banned, and we don’t.

What do you want it to do?

Cheats come in a few families. Pick the family first, then the product.

  • Change the game: a mod menu. Spawn vehicles, edit your player, teleport, block attacks from other modders (protections), unlock items or use recovery features. Mod menus are the main choice for GTA V and RDR2, and FiveM has both mod menus and PvP tools. Cherax is the menu our customers buy most.
  • See more and aim better: ESP and aim features. ESP shows players and items through walls, while an aimbot, a triggerbot or recoil control help your aim. That’s what most cheats for CS2, Rust, Apex Legends and Call of Duty do. MemeSense is our best-seller for CS2.
  • Run scripts: Lua support or a Lua executor. Many GTA V menus run Lua scripts made by their community. On FiveM, a Lua executor such as redENGINE runs scripts in the game, and some menus, like Phaze, are built on top of it. For Roblox, see our script executors.
  • Change how things look: a skin changer. Jupiter CS2 and MemeSense both include one.
  • Stream or record: look for “streamproof” on the product page, which means the cheat’s overlay stays out of your recordings. Kernaim, SMBIOS and TZX Project are among the cheats that list it.

Not sure what a feature means? Our cheat glossary explains each term in a sentence or two.

Internal or external?

An internal cheat runs inside the game, so it can change what the game does: that’s why most mod menus are internal. An external cheat runs as its own program next to the game, reads what the game knows and shows it in an overlay, which suits ESP, radar and aim features. Kernaim Rust is external. On FiveM, TZ Project is internal and TZX Project is its external version.

Don’t pick a type because you think it’s safer: anti-cheats look for both. Choose by what you want the cheat to do. Our guide to internal vs external cheats goes further.

Budget and plan length

Prices in this guide are live: they come straight from our store, in your currency. Most products come in several lengths:

  • A short key (1 day to 1 week) is the cheapest way to try a cheat and see if it suits you. Pellix starts at € 1.00 1 Day, for example, and Predator CS2 at € 1.50 1 Day.
  • A monthly or longer plan suits you if you play in bursts or like to switch cheats from time to time. The time on a duration key starts at its first activation, not at purchase.
  • A lifetime key is one payment, valid for as long as the developer supports the product. Cherax Standard is € 23.50, paid once.

Which one pays off depends on how long you’ll use it. Our guide to lifetime vs monthly keys does the maths with live prices.

Two more things before you set a budget. Some products need another one to work: Phaze runs on the redENGINE executor, which starts at € 7.50 1 Week, and SpectraX is a Lua script that needs Lexis. And a key that has been revealed or used can’t be refunded, so if you’re unsure, start short. Our guide to how buying works covers payment methods and the refund rules.

Status, requirements and support

  • Status. Before you buy or renew, check the Product Status page: after a game update, many cheats pause for a while until the developer releases a new build. A status shows the developer’s latest information, not a promise.
  • Requirements. Read the requirements on the product page: the Windows versions supported, and limits such as no virtual machines or cloud PCs (Cherax), no controller support (Kernaim Rust), or an invite and a key locked to one PC (Cherax Prime).
  • Where the key comes from. Some developers only support keys bought from their approved resellers: Cherax says so, and lists its resellers on its website. EldroMods is on the official reseller list of Cherax and of many other developers we sell.
  • Who helps with what. You redeem your key on the developer’s website, and the developer’s own pages and support cover the cheat itself. Our team handles your order and your key, 24/7 on Discord or by email at [email protected]. For setup, follow the developer’s own guide, or see docs.eldromods.com.

Four examples

GTA V, a full mod menu: Cherax

You play GTA V, Legacy or Enhanced, and want protections, a vehicle spawner and Lua scripts. Cherax Standard and Premium are lifetime keys, from € 23.50 Standard. They aren’t made for BattlEye on: that’s the job of Cherax Prime, the invite-only tier.

CS2, aim and ESP: MemeSense

You want legit or rage aim settings, ESP, a triggerbot and a skin changer in CS2. MemeSense comes in plans from 14 to 180 days, from € 4.00 14 Days, and it’s the CS2 cheat our customers buy most.

Frequently asked questions

What should I buy for my first cheat or mod menu?

Pick a product made for your game and edition, then start with a short key. A week or a month costs less than a lifetime key and shows you whether the cheat suits you and runs well on your PC. If you like it, a longer plan or a lifetime key can follow.

How do I know if a cheat works with BattlEye on?

Read the product page and the plan names. In our shop, “BE” in a plan name stands for BattlEye, and product pages say when a product is made to run with it on. If a page doesn’t say, ask us before you buy. Whatever the page says, any cheat can get your account banned.

Do your cheats work on PS5 or Xbox?

No. Everything we sell is for PC games on Windows.

What if my cheat stops working after a game update?

That’s common. Many cheats pause after a game update while the developer prepares a new build. Check our Product Status page and the developer’s announcements, or ask us on Discord.

Can I get a refund if a cheat doesn’t suit me?

A change of mind isn’t covered by our refund policy. Within 14 days of purchase, a key that hasn’t been revealed, redeemed, activated or used can be refunded with the developer’s approval. That’s why a short key is the cheapest way to try a cheat before you commit.
