Our picks at a glance
Best all-rounder: Cherax
Cherax has been developed since 2019 and packs more than 500 features, protections against crashes and kicks from other modders, and a built-in Lua engine. It works on GTA V Legacy and Enhanced. Standard (€ 23.50) and Premium (€ 46.00) are lifetime keys, and EldroMods is on the official Cherax reseller list. Cherax is an internal menu and works next to other menus. Standard and Premium are not made for BattlEye: that’s what Cherax Prime is for.

Best for GTA V Legacy: Stand
Stand is known for protections that don’t break the game and for running both Lua scripts and ASI mods. It supports GTA V Legacy only and is made for solo sessions with BattlEye off. Basic (€ 12.00), Regular (€ 24.50) and Ultimate (€ 48.00) are all lifetime keys, with upgrade keys to move up later. Torn between Stand and Cherax? Our Cherax vs Stand comparison puts them side by side.

Best for sessions with BattlEye on
If you have an invite, Cherax Prime is the Cherax tier made to run with BattlEye on, sold as a 1, 3 or 6 month subscription from € 27.50. Without an invite, look at Nenyooo Premium (€ 61.49, lifetime, BattlEye on or off), Jupiter (an external tool for GTA V Enhanced) or Tsumi (GTA V Enhanced only). Yari, Atlas VIP, Scooby Premium Plus and X-Force with its Ace add-on are made for BattlEye on too, and Lexis, Ethereal, 0xCheats and the 1 Month BE plan of Nexoria work with it, as our product docs note.

How we compared them
We only list menus we sell today, and every fact in this guide comes from the product pages, our docs and the developers’ own information. We looked at five things:
- GTA V edition. Legacy, Enhanced or both. A menu built for the wrong edition won’t help you.
- BattlEye. Whether the menu or one of its plans is made to run with BattlEye on, or only in sessions where it’s off.
- License length. A short key to try, a monthly plan, or a lifetime key you pay for once.
- Features. Protections, recovery, vehicles and Lua scripting are the ones buyers ask about most.
- Price. Shown live from our store.
Legacy or Enhanced: check your edition first
GTA V on PC comes in two editions: Legacy, the original PC version, and Enhanced, the upgraded version Rockstar released in March 2025. Not every menu supports both.
- Both editions: Cherax, Cherax Prime, Lexis, X-Force, Atlas, Scooby, Midnight (FSL and BE plans), Nenyooo, NewWay Premium, Raiden (one key for both), Sylent, 0xCheats, Nexoria and SpectraX (with Lexis).
- Enhanced only: Jupiter, Tsumi and Yari.
- Legacy only: Stand.
- Separate plans for each edition: Ethereal.
Not sure which edition you play? Our guide to GTA V Legacy vs Enhanced explains how to tell, and what changes for your menu.
BattlEye: where will you play?
GTA Online on PC runs the BattlEye anti-cheat. Some menus, or some of their plans, are made to run with it switched on: Cherax Prime, Jupiter, Tsumi, Yari, Nenyooo Premium, Atlas VIP, Scooby Premium Plus, X-Force with its Ace add-on, NewWay’s BattlEye On plans (Enhanced), the 30 Days BE plan of Midnight and the 1 Month BE plan of Nexoria. Lexis, Ethereal and 0xCheats work with BattlEye on too, and so does SpectraX, the Lua script for Lexis. In our shop, “BE” in a plan name stands for BattlEye.
Others are made for sessions with BattlEye off: Stand, Sylent, Nenyooo Standard, Atlas Standard, Scooby Premium, NewWay Premium, the other Nexoria plans and X-Force Essential, which is made for sessions you host. Raiden doesn’t support BattlEye at all.
A straight word on bans. Using any mod menu in GTA Online breaks Rockstar’s terms and can get your account banned, whatever the menu or plan. Nobody can honestly promise you won’t be banned, and we don’t.
Lifetime key or subscription?
A lifetime key is one payment, and it works for as long as the developer keeps the menu going. Most menus here offer one: Cherax Standard (€ 23.50), Stand Basic (€ 12.00), Nenyooo Standard (€ 24.49), Lexis (€ 120.00) and Jupiter (€ 120.00), among others.
Cherax Prime and 0xCheats are sold by duration only. Many other menus offer both, so you can start with a week or a month and buy a lifetime key once you know you like it. Cherax, Stand and Scooby also sell upgrade keys, so you can start on a lower tier and move up later. Our guide to lifetime vs monthly keys does the maths with live prices.
Internal or external?
Most mod menus run inside the game itself (internal). Cherax, Stand, X-Force, Lexis, Atlas, Midnight and 0xCheats, for example, load into GTA V. Jupiter is the exception here: it’s an external tool that runs as its own program next to GTA V Enhanced. Our guide to internal vs external cheats explains what that changes.
Menus we no longer sell
2Take1, Infamous, Fragment and Hares were discontinued by their developers. Their pages stay up with alternatives. If you used Infamous, Nenyooo comes from the same developer.
Playing on FiveM servers rather than GTA Online? Our guide to FiveM mod menus and Lua executors compares them, Nenyooo and Scooby included.
Setup steps differ from menu to menu: follow the developer’s own guide, or see the GTA V pages of our docs.
Frequently asked questions
Which GTA 5 mod menu is best for beginners?
Pick one that is easy to find your way around and doesn’t ask for a big commitment. X-Force is a budget menu with features for beginners and veterans alike. Cherax and Tsumi both let you choose between a classic list menu and a click interface you drive with the mouse. A short key from NewWay, 0xCheats or Nexoria is another low-cost way to start.
Which GTA 5 mod menus work with BattlEye on?
Cherax Prime (invite-only), Jupiter, Tsumi, Yari and Nenyooo Premium are made for sessions with BattlEye on, as are Atlas VIP, Scooby Premium Plus, X-Force with its Ace add-on, NewWay’s BattlEye On plans and the BE plans of Midnight and Nexoria. Lexis, Ethereal and 0xCheats work with BattlEye on as well. Stand, Sylent, Nenyooo Standard, Atlas Standard, Scooby Premium, NewWay Premium and X-Force Essential are made for sessions with BattlEye off, and Raiden doesn’t support it.
Is a lifetime key really for life?
It lasts for as long as the developer supports the menu. When a developer stops, the menu stops too: 2Take1 and Infamous are recent examples. That’s why we only list menus that are actively sold and updated today.
Can I get banned for using a GTA 5 mod menu?
Yes, with any menu. Mod menus break Rockstar’s terms of service and nobody can guarantee you won’t be banned. The Cherax team, for one, names adding money as the riskiest thing you can do.
Do these mod menus work on PS5 or Xbox?
No. Every menu in this guide is for GTA V on a Windows PC.
